This task was to make and eight page book (front and back covers with six double spreads) based of off a song. I used the song "The other mans grass" by Petula Clark. I used watercolour and ink because I wanted to make the piece about someone's washed out life caused by depression "the other mans grass" being happiness represented by the sun was the brightest part of the piece

These are typefaces pieces using different fonts for different themes
This is where I experimented with using colour, to represent different places, my personality and how colours are used to make other colours
Here are my attempts at making thumbnail sketches, refined ideas and making a final piece. We had to make 40 initial thumbnail's using different materials. I then chose the five best ones which were selected after getting feedback from friends
These are my rough sketches from throughout the whole project, where i learnt how perspective can severely impact how shapes look
In the third week of this project we were tasked with making copies of three already existing pieces. One using scraperboard, one with pen and ink and the last using pencil
